Exposed aggregate driveway and entry, Beeliar

The brief

A Beeliar client wanted a new driveway and entry that would lift the front of the property and hold up to daily vehicle use. The brief called for an exposed aggregate finish, specifically Geostone’s Jacaranda White blend, for a lighter, brighter look across both the driveway and the entry statement.

The pour

After a free measure and quote, we prepped the site, excavating to depth and compacting a solid base across the full driveway and entry footprint. Formwork was set out for clean, straight edges and correct falls so water runs away from the garage and entry rather than pooling. Reinforcement mesh went in before the pour to handle ongoing vehicle loads.

The Jacaranda White Geostone blend was poured and screeded across both the driveway and entry sections, then washed and brushed back once it had gone off enough to expose the aggregate evenly across the whole surface. The job was sealed once cured, protecting the finish and keeping the lighter tones of the blend looking sharp.

The result

A driveway and entry finished in a consistent Jacaranda White exposed aggregate that ties the two areas together as one job rather than a driveway with a mismatched entry tacked on. Poured and finished over three days on site, sealed and ready for daily use.
